The Studio · Sampling
Toiles and finished samples, sewn in-house and refined with you until the fit, the feel and the finish are exactly right.
Why it matters
A sample is where your idea becomes a garment: the first time you hold it, try it, and know.
Get sampling right and production becomes a formality. Get it wrong and every error is multiplied by your run size. We sample carefully, in-house, with fit sessions along the way, because a perfect sample is the cheapest insurance in fashion.
What you get
Development samples that prove the pattern and the fit before you commit to fabric.
We fit, pin and correct with you, adjusting the pattern until the garment sits right.
Final samples in your fabric with full trims and finishing, ready to photograph and sell from.
Honest direction on cloth, trims and construction that suit your design and price point.
How it works
We start from your pattern, or cut one for you, and agree the cloth and trims for the piece.
A development sample is sewn to prove the shape, the proportions and the construction.
Fit sessions with you, corrections to the pattern, and further toiles if the piece needs them.
The finished piece in your fabric, approved by you, and the exact standard your production will be held to.
Good to know
Production is only ever cut against an approved sample, so what you saw is what you get.
Pattern, toile and sample happen in the same studio, so corrections are fast and nothing is lost in translation.
Samples belong to you, for lookbooks, buyers, crowdfunding, or simply the wardrobe.
